Our Activities
While the main focus of our meetings is the study and research of Coxhoe’s past we also learn about the wider aspects of local history through visiting speakers. Members’ interest in history varies from the local enthusiast to the casually curious.
We aim to keep meetings relaxed and friendly with:
- a varied programme provided by guest speakers every other month
- a ‘Tea and Talk’ session with time to reminisce and share the latest research
- the latest ‘finds’ on display e.g. photographs & research
We normally contribute £3.00 towards group expenses at each session. There may be extra charges for guest speakers. Casual visitors are always welcome. Why not give it a try?
